August 4, 2008 - Governor Patrick signed the Massachusetts Broadband Institute & Incentive Fund legislation into law at an event in Goshen, MA
Governor Deval Patrick stated, "...High speed broadband is the gateway to the 21st century world, whether it's economic, educational opportunity or civic access..."
Representative Steve Kulik stated, "...By the end of 2010, we are going to make sure that everyone (in Massachusetts) that wants broadband gets it."
"Massachusetts Technology Collaborative's pledge here is to bring the Massachusetts Broadband Institute to life and to fully meet the expectations of all of you." stated the Executive Director of Massachusetts Technology Collaborative, Mitchell Adams.
